A PERRP-Spective on the Fire Chief's Role in Compliance Webinar

Join us virtually on June 21, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM & June 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM for a PERRP-Spective on the Fire Chief's Role in Compliance. These courses are designed for Chief Officers and any rank that is involved with ensuring the safety of their personnel. The Fire Official's Leadership and Management Series will provide credential level coursework that will be applied toward maintaining OFO and OFC. 

The June 21, 2021 course will cover an introduction to BWC/Public Employment Risk Reduction Program (PERRP) as it relates to the fire service. PERRP has applied to the fire service since 2017. It will also cover the most commonly found categories risk reduction improvement is needed at fire stations within the respective departments. 

The June 23, 2021 course will focus on the respiratory aspects of the fire service. This course will be taught by a compliance and safety specialist from the Bureau of Workers Compensation - Roy Williams, Compliance Safety & Health Officer and Ryan Towns, Senior Compliance Safety Health Officer.

This is the restart of The Fire Official's Leadership and Management Series with the support of the Ohio Fire & Emergency Services Foundation. In addition, the restart of this series ties in with the 2021 Firefighter Safety Stand Down Week (June 20-26, 2021).
