Shawnee Township Fire Department is now hiring qualified candidates to establish a list for the position of Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic. Shawnee Township is a unique community with a heavy industrial base that creates a dynamic career in emergency response.
Mandatory Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License, Firefighter Level 2, EMT-Paramedic, drug and alcohol screening, physical exam, and a physical agility test.
LATERAL TRANSFERS belonging to the Ohio Police and Fire Pension system are highly encouraged to apply. Subject to pre-employment screening. **Applicants who do not have all certifications may still be considered.
