Shawnee Township Fire Department is now hiring for a Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic-
Shawnee Township is a unique community with a heavy industrial base that creates a dynamic career in emergency response.
Mandatory qualifications: Qualified applicants: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, possess a valid Ohio Vehicle Operator’s License, Firefighter level 2, EMT-Paramedic, HAZMAT/WMD Tech, Pass a drug and alcohol screening along with a physical exam, and a valid certification of CPAT or Firefighter Mile prior to interviews.
Lateral Transfers are being accepted for anyone who is in the Ohio Police and Fire Pension system. On filling any open position with lateral transfer, the candidate would still have to complete drug screening and background checks.
**Applicants who do not have all certifications prior to applying may still be considered.
